The advantages of sattelite television are that they provide DVD quality pictures or images, better quality sound, are cheaper than cable televisions, offer great entertainment packages, provide 24x7 customer service and many more. Cable networks are normally not to the extent of all remote areas because it needs many people to handle and operate all the cable connections whereas the sattelite television can be easily viewed in the remotest of the areas with the help of satellites. They provide lots of channels and programs to the viewers which cable cannot provide. With the help of satellite you can easily view the time-table or the schedule of the programs for the whole week so that you can manage your time well before to watch your favorite program. All the channels have live broadcasting so that there is no possibility of getting any chopped version of any program. Geographical boundaries are not a barrier to sattelite television. Sattelite television has a special technology in which you can view the highlights of some program that you have missed. These are some of the advantages of such television. The disadvantage is that the broadcasting of sattelite television is badly affected during bad weathers. They can be affected during winter, storms and rainy seasons. Another disadvantage is that the broadband or cable net service is not available with satellite networks. Because of lots of advantages many people have started viewing sattelite television and have discarded the cable networks.
